Thanks for answering the poll folks.
Although the poll states it's for "my next piece," it will actually influence many non-commission pieces in the future. It was basically a census of what people want to see artwise from me. I've got a lot of ideas brewing based on the poll results, so thanks!
On my daily commutes into the city for study, I've begun drawing on the train. Normally I fill at least a page a day with studies and practice work of animal anatomy, construction and form, regardless of city commute. Oftentimes, I have the creature design books by Terryl Whitlatch by my side, as she is my current main inspiration. But this isn't the point I'm getting to.
I won't be posting these daily study drawings as they are plain, background-less and rough, and because I'd like to fill all my art blogs' galleries with colour and flood out my old art filled with plain, white backgrounds.
IN THIS JOURNAL, however, I will post some examples of my daily study work. These feature a mix of animals both referenced and not. If you see any changes in my future artwork you will now know why!
